The Spillway Basins create beautiful pouring water features that allow for a variety of installations. The Spillway Bowls fit great into the garden setting and can be installed as a standalone pouring water feature using an Aquascape AquaBasin® or installed into an existing pond or water feature, with water cascading over all sides of the basin. Alternatively, they can be combined with a Spillway Bowl for a real wow-factor. In this setup, the Spillway Bowls are seated atop a Spillway Bowl Stand (sold separately) with the flow from the spillway directed into the Spillway Basin below, which then overflows on all sides, with the water returning to the AquaBasin. Made from durable glass fibre reinforced concrete (GFRC), this incredible decorative feature is easy to install and built for years of trouble-free enjoyment. The included standpipe provides multiple options for adjusting the water flow after installation. Cast concrete is a hand-finished process. As such, GFRC finishes will vary by unit. There will be a colour variance of up to 15% in each unit. There may also be uneven texture or pattern as well as small holes in the surface caused by air or water trapped on the surface during casting. This is a normal trait of cast concrete and is not covered under warranty. For the 52cm diameter Spillway Bowl, Aquascape recommend using an Ultra 3000 water feature pump. For the larger 102cm diameter Spillway Bowls, the Ultra 8000 is recommended, along with an AquaBasin 45.
